Public Records Request

To request to inspect/review Metropolitan Domestic Water Improvement District’s public records and/or to purchase copies, please complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the Public Records Request Form
  2. Submit the completed form to the Clerk of the Board by email, by mail, or hand-deliver to the Metro Water District Office:

  • For any request, please be specific about the information you are seeking.  Avoid phrases such as “any and all information relating to…”, as this will only delay the response.
  • The District will confirm receipt of your request and will make a good faith effort to retrieve the documents requested to the best of the District’s ability.
  • There will be a minimum charge pursuant to A.R.S. §39-121.01D. and A.R.S. §39-121.03A. The District will determine the cost to reproduce the records requested and you will be contacted by phone or email with the amount.  Once payment is received, copies will be sent to you.   • There is no charge for inspection of public records at the District’s office.
  • District staff cannot provide legal advice.
