What is Direct Pay?
You can have your payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account each month. This service is free.

Frequently Asked Questions regarding Direct Pay from your Checking or Savings Account:

How will I know the amount of my bill?
Metro Water will send you a bill showing your monthly usage and charges along with the date your payment will be processed. This will help you track your usage and give you ample time to update your bank account register and make sure you have adequate funds.

What if I have questions about the amount of my bill?
Call the customer service department at least five (5) days before the bill's due date to resolve any questions regarding your bill.

What if I don't have sufficient funds in my account on the payment date?
It would be as if you had written a check with insufficient funds. If this situation occurs, a service charge will be applied to your Metro Water account and you may incur fees from your financial institution.

How do I sign up for this free service?
Simply complete the enrollment form, enclose a voided check for checking accounts. Direct Pay will be set up for your account within two (2) business days of receiving your application.

How do I change bank accounts or cancel direct pay payment?
Send the request in writing to Customer Service at Metro Water District. Changes will take effect within two (2) business days of receiving the request.
