Plan Review & Permitting

Master Plan Review Submittals of the water master plan for review shall include a CAD generated layered PDF file of the plan containing elements as outlined on the Water Master Plan Checklist. A Master Plan is required for phased projects, complex projects, projects that require off-site infrastructure, or other projects as deemed necessary by the District. Do not submit a Master Plan without first receiving acknowledgement it is necessary by District staff. Master plan submittals shall be electronically transmitted with the appropriate contact information to [email protected]. Specifications & Details

All construction in the Metropolitan Domestic Water Improvement District (MDWID) shall conform to the most current edition of the Metro Water Supplemental Specifications and Details for Construction (2016 Edition), as a supplement to the Tucson Water Specifications and Details (2017 Edition).  Specifications and details not modified or excluded from the Tucson Water Specifications and Details by these supplemental specifications and details shall still apply to all construction in the MDWID.  All construction shall also conform to the Pima Association of Governments (PAG) Standard Specifications and Details for Public Improvements (2015 Edition), along with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Bulletin 10.
